Rundown of World History:

A very basic look!

God created the world for humans. Genesis 1-2, Isaiah 45:18

He wanted to have friendship with us. Genesis 3:8

This happened for a while, then satan tempted Eve. Genesis 3:1

He told her that she would live forever and gain knowledge. Genesis 3:4-5

He lied. He still lies. He is the father of lies. John 8:44

He used to be a perfect angel. Ezekiel 28:12-19

He thought He was better than God, so God threw him out of Heaven Isaiah 12:14-21

Adam and Eve ate the fruit, so God put a curse on them and the land Genesis 3:14-19

Their relationship with God was immediately broken. Romans 5:14-19

God got rid of sinful people. He flooded the world Genesis 6-8. He destroyed sinful cities Genesis 19:1-29, Deuteronomy 29:23. He sent warnings. Jonah & all the prophets…

He gave the Ten Commandments to show us our sin. Exodus 20:2-17, Romans 3:19, Galatians 3:19

Numerous prophets told of His Sons' coming and things He would do. Isaiah, Zechariah, Psalms

Then it happened. A virgin gave birth to Jesus Christ. Luke 1:27

The ruler of Heaven had accepted the mission to bring God's people back.

He came as a human and put up with a humble life. Hebrews 2:14

He lived a perfect, sin-free life. 1 Peter 2:22 (see 10 commandments Exodus 20)

Never lusted after a woman, never lied, never hated anyone, He put God first 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 3:18

He then started preaching of the only way for people to return to friendship with God. Luke 19:10, John 3:17, 6:35, 14:6,

He turned water into wine. John 2:1-10

He healed the sick. All of them! Mathew 8:16-17, Luke 17:12-19

He raised the dead. Mark 5:35-43, John 11:38-44

He accepted ridicule and told of His death. Luke 24:46

He was mocked and beaten with a lead tipped whip. Isaiah 53:5, John 19:1

He was crucified and became cursed for us. Galatians 3:13

He was separated from God for us. Mark 15:34

All the while, He could have ended it all and gone back to heaven. Mathew 26:53,

He didn't. He died for us. All of us have helped put Him there. 1 John 1:7

BUT THEN - God raised Him from the dead! 1 Corinthians 6:14

He showed people that He was the Son of God. Acts 13:30, John 20:24-29

He told the people who believed He was (and is) the only Son of God to tell others. Mark 1:16, Acts 1:18, Matthew 28:19

He still heals the sick, raises the dead and releases people from bondage. Look around you! God is the same today as yesterday. Hebrews 13.8

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Rom 3:23

God forgives all that call on the name of Jesus and confess their sins. 1 John 1:9

You must trust Jesus alone to make you right with God.  Romans 10:9

Through Jesus, you can talk directly to God. John 16:23

No amount of trying harder not to sin will work. Ephesians 2:8-9

As you get to know Jesus better (not know about Him!) He takes care of your problems 2 Peter 1:3,

You also gain the advantage of going to Heaven when you die. John 11:25,

If you confess Jesus to other people, Jesus will stand up for you in front of God Mathew 10:32

Judgement, Hell and Eternal Seperation from God are the plight of those who refuse Jesus...
